Alkaline vs. Acidic foods

pH represents a number that is given to the current state of the acid/alkaline chemistry levels that make up your body’s enviroment. The average pH of the human body typically resides at 7pH which is a neutral number. The closer to zero on the pH scale the more acidic, whereas the more toward 14 you go, the more basic the enviroment. Leading dietary experts are suggesting that some people are becoming too acidic by eating foods that aren’t good for them….mainly sugar and sweets! These experts suggest consuming a ratio of 70 alkaline foods and a 20-30% amount of acidic foods for a healthy balance. Take a look, you might be surprised at what foods you thought were acidic and which foods you didn’t think were acidic.
